Heres some info about the person making this site :)
So who are you?
I'm just a person, with a lot of free time right now, trying to make something fun here! I'm an artist, a writer, and a big fan of sci fi and alien worlds! I'm still learning html and css, so my code is probably kinda bad, but it's been a lot of fun to learn and see myself improve.
The "Saltycaramela" in the title of this site is referring to is my common online handle, though it isn't the same everywhere. I go by many nicknames, and any name is usually good, but common ones are: Salty, Caramela, Cat, and Cara.
Oh! Also, my pronouns are they/them, thanks for using them :)
Basic info about you?
Well: I'm almost 20, I'm Canadian, and I'm a disabled nonbinary person. (I'll admit, boredom was a factor in creating this...)
What are you planning on doing with this Website?
Well, I'm not entirely sure, but I have some ideas! I want to make a shrine to some of my interests and fandoms since that seems really fun, I'm uploading some of my fanfics and art here, and anything else I think of!
I wasn't around for when geocities and personalized websites were a common thing, growing up in the age of social media, so this is pretty new territory for me. Help would be appreciated if you want to offer it!
This website is meant to be a digital scrapbook of things I like and have made, as well as just a fun side project to do. I've been interested in what people make on their own websites for awhile now, since it's all just so creative!
What fandoms are you into?

I mostly am into Transformers, you could even call it a special interest, but I like mostly sci fi and space fantasy. Some other fandoms (in no particular order) include...
Transformers - I may have mentioned it above, but I LOVE this franchise! I collect figures, I watch the shows (even when they might be kinda bad), I read the novels and comics, I follow online creators; name it and I probably know something transformers related to it! My favourite show is Transformers Animated, my favourite comic series is More Than Meets The Eye, my favourite popular character is Optimus Prime, and my favourite niche character is Beachcomber. If anyone wants to yell about transformers, check out my socials and send a message!
TMNT - The funny turtles can be funny and awesome, plus with some sci fi stuff I love like mutants and aliens. My favourite shows are Rise of The TMNT (2018) and TMNT (2012).
Ace Attorney - Futuristic lawyer simulator with a good story and mostly good gameplay? Awesome! Favourite game is Justice for All, since I was introduced to Ace Attorney through Apollo.
Batman/DCU - Yes I know theres more than Batman in the DCU, I love many heroes in those comics, but he's my favourite part of it! Sue me!
Spiderman - Despite being a DC fan, Spiderman just hits all the right notes for me. I'm so insanely inspired by the Spiderverse movies that I'll gush about them to whoever I can!

Reading - Like most introverts, I like curling up with a good book on an afternoon. Though admittedly, fanfiction and other online articles have crept in. I try to read whatever book or comic I have though, and always love getting a new book for one of those days when I'm itching for something new. Novels are some of the best stories out in the world in my opinion, and I only don't read more because I have a hard time starting it.
Creative Writing - I find my head swimming with ideas so much, I kind of had to start writing so I could get them out! I write fanfic right now, but I do have dreams of writing and publishing original fiction somewhere one day. I'm just sharpening my pen with fanfic until the day I can properly tackle my own ideas.
Digital Drawing/Illustration - This was my first form of creative expression, and one of my best forms of art I have. Doing art studies and trying to capture the images in my mind closely is a struggle but it's fun at the same time for me.
Collecting - Most recently transformers has become a collection, but I have a few different ones. I have pins/buttons, I have books, and I have plushies! Plushies are my biggest collection right now, though it's slowed down. I've been trying to get a pin from almost every new place I go!
Video Games - I mostly play roguelikes and rpgs, along with some visual novels, and I think they're some of the best artistic and entertainment experiences out there. As a disabled person too, it helps give me more to do when I can't get out of bed.
Media Analysis - I may or may not share this on here one day, but I love writing mini essays and analysis on media I like! Dissecting the themes and artistic choices of a work just makes me appreciate it deeper, and of course helps in my own journey of writing by letting me see what can be possible.
Decorating/Self Expression - This one is more vague, but I love just expressing myself through things like fashion, decoration, and crafting! I think that's why I'm into so many creative things: so I can show everyone who I am. That's why I'm also making this site as well! I'm happy to be alive and I want everyone else to know it too!
